Who's Behind Kiddos Keep

Hi, I’m Katherine, the person behind Kiddos Keep 🤍

Originally from Miami and now based in Boston, I’ve been working as a nanny for over ten years, something I genuinely love. Along the way, I earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, which shaped how I understand child development, milestones, and the why behind so many everyday moments with kids.

Even though I’m not currently practicing as a licensed occupational therapist, my education paired with real-life, hands-on experience gives me a unique perspective. I spend my days in real homes with real families, supporting children through play, routines, challenges, and growth, exactly where development actually happens.

That balance between education and everyday caregiving is at the core of everything I create.

Why I Created Kiddos Keep

Working as a nanny while studying child development gave me a frontrow seat to a gap I kept noticing as I spent more time working closely with families.

Parents wanted guidance they could trust, without feeling overwhelmed, judged, or buried in clinical language. Caregivers wanted tools that actually supported them in real-life moments. And many existing resources felt either too academic or too surface-level, with very little that translated seamlessly into everyday routines.

I kept thinking, Why isn’t there something that explains development clearly, but still feels warm, practical, and realistic?

That question is what sparked Kiddos Keep.

What Kiddos Keep Is All About

Kiddos Keep is a collection of thoughtfully created digital guides designed to support children’s development while also supporting the adults who care for them, the parents, caregivers, and professionals alike.

The guides are organized by age and focus on helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface during each stage of growth, along with simple, realistic ways to support development in everyday life. There’s no pressure to “do it all” or follow a perfect timeline—just guidance that meets kids where they are.

At its heart, Kiddos Keep is built on the belief that development isn’t linear, kids aren’t one-size-fits-all, and growth happens through patience, curiosity, and trial and error. Everything I create is rooted in evidence-informed practices but delivered in a way that feels warm, approachable, and actually usable.

If you’re here, you’re already doing something right. Kiddos Keep is here to support you as you navigate milestones, questions, and everyday moments—one step at a time.
